CORPORATE LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY
FOR WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE

PROFESSIONAL LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY FOR GLOBAL RECRUITMENT AND WORKPLACE SPECIALISTS

This was an interesting project enquiry – always one of the great things about working as a Manchester commercial photographer is the variety of different briefs you can be sent. Welcome to The Jungle (formerly Otta) asked me to photograph a company case study for their new Trendbook - FUTURE(S): A Leader’s Guide to Rewriting the Rules of Work in 2025. Check out details of the book HERE.

The book is a 'detailed analysis of key future work trends and an inspiring and actionable reference guide for companies aiming to better anticipate and adjust their organisation and the way they grow'.

The subject for the corporate lifestyle photography was Gareth Hoyle, a member of Marketing Signals, who was interviewed for the book. Marketing Signals is a fully remote business, so I would be heading over to Wilmslow to meet Gareth and photograph him at work in his home.

THE BRIEF

Welcome to the Jungle (Otta) approached me to photograph a case study for their Trendbook, focusing on flexible work and meeting culture. The brief was all about showcasing modern and future work trends, including how flexible, hybrid and home working have all become a new standard. The client needed portraits of Gareth at work in his home, in whatever locations he chooses. The photographs needed to demonstrate the benefits of working from home whilst also showing how anything that would ordinarily be done in an office can be done remotely, without issue.

PROCESS

The subject was Gareth Hoyle, a marketing expert from Wilmslow, Cheshire and the goal was to capture the benefits of a remote-first work style. I photographed Gareth in his home office to showcase the flexibility of remote work. We captured candid portraits of him working, in Zoom calls, and relaxing in different areas of his home. This demonstrated the versatility of a non-traditional workspace.

RESPONSE

Working with Gareth was great fun. His enthusiasm and adaptable workspace really helped in capturing the benefits of remote work. The final images effectively conveyed his professional demeanour and the relaxed atmosphere of his home office.

This project was a great example of commercial lifestyle photography. It goes beyond traditional corporate portraits, offering a deeper look into individuals' lives and workspaces. By capturing authentic interactions and personalised workspaces, the photography fosters connection and strengthens brand messaging. As a Manchester freelance photographer specialising in brand and marketing photography, I capture the stories of businesses and individuals. I focus on commercial lifestyle photography and corporate portraiture to connect with audiences.
